About this place
Chilled buckwheat noodles passed through clear, dashi-rich dipping broth offer welcome refreshment when your feet are tired from walking. Located on the 4th floor of Ikspiari, Rin-ya focuses on hegi soba alongside a wide lineup of buckwheat noodle meals. Served in large wooden boxes, te-buri hegi soba is easy to share around the table, and you can tailor each bite by ordering extra dipping broths like roasted sesame, grated tororo yam, or duck.
Crisp tempura and customizable meal trays
Tempura is the classic companion to buckwheat noodles here, fried with an airy, crisp batter and served either as an assorted platter or as individual add-on prawn pieces. Diners after a more substantial spread can turn to combo trays matching noodles with rice bowls—such as tendon, negitoro don, or simmering katsu nabe. The menu also branches into distinct variations to match your mood, including spicy pork soba tsukemen with concentrated broth, fragrant walnut soba, and a set combining noodles with spiced curry.
A calming interior designed for easy dining
Decorated with understated Japanese touches, the dining space provides a soothing stop for midday lunches between shopping trips or lingering evening meals. Solo diners can sit comfortably on their own, while families are accommodated with dedicated children's meal trays and high chairs. Come evening, the dining room also works well for a casual drink, pairing regional sake or shochu with classic drinking snacks like itawasa fish cakes and agedashi tofu.
